My work is informed by events at the water’s edge. Sand patterns sculpted by tides, seaweeds curled and coiled, and clay, formed with rhythm and pulse, may be thought of as belonging together.
Some work is coil built, burnished, and saggar fired with hardwood and seaweed. Other work, glazed or stained clay, is fired to stoneware temperatures.
Directions: From Stirling take A811. Turn left at the Kippen roundabout, taking the B22 into Kippen. Turn left at Kippen Cross into Burnside. Nealestone is on the right, down an unpaved track, alongside the burn, just opposite Cameron Crescent.
