I work in two dimensions indirectly from a rough outline or note taken down when in an interesting place. I enjoy working from memory seeking to convey a sense of place where something transitory, but significant occurs. Using dilute paint and line, I stain and layer canvas or paper, referring to events in a fairly abstract form. Canvas or paper becomes a ”stage set”. This year a studio, and attic store room are open.
